FORME is a daily puzzle game made by Campify (Eifosoft). We built it to collect as little as possible.

The iPhone app

The app does not require an account. Your progress, streaks and settings are stored only on your device.

Races

If you start or join a race, the display name you choose, your finish time, hint count and a random device identifier are sent to our server so that everyone in the race can see the same leaderboard. Race data is deleted automatically after 60 days. On the website, analytics also receives the information described below.

The website (forme.campify.io)

The website uses Google Analytics to understand visits and gameplay, including puzzle finishes, hints, race creation, joining and sharing actions. Analytics uses a random device identifier. If you choose a race display name, that name is also sent to Google Analytics and is visible to us in analytics reports. Use a nickname you are comfortable sharing. You can block analytics with a content blocker or browser privacy setting, and the game works exactly the same.

Sharing results

When you share a result, the text and link are created on your device. The iPhone app hands them to the app you choose; the website uses your device's share sheet where supported, with clipboard copying as a fallback. Web analytics records that you used sharing, but does not receive your clipboard contents or chosen recipient.

Children

FORME is designed for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Player records. When the game opens, and when you set a name or finish a board, it sends your device id, chosen name, platform, app version, time zone and play counts to our server, which also records an approximate location (country and city) derived from your connection. This tells us where players come from and how much they play. It is not shared or sold. Ask us at support@campify.io to delete it.
